| Description |
English: Bluestar 1305 (HF58 GZK), a Scania OmniCity, in West Street, Southampton, on Uni-link route U1E. Route U1E is a variation of routes U1A (towards Airport) and U1C (towards City Centre). The U1E continues past Southampton Airport, and on to Eastleigh. It was good to photograph it, as only a few journeys do this each day. Since Bluestar took over the Uni-link network, the number of U1E journeys has increased, as their depot is in Eastleigh, so some buses run a U1E before returning to the depot for the night. A couple of journeys start from Eastleigh in the morning and run to Southampton, but as these run to the same city centre terminus, these still run as "U1C". |
