Title
blueglassbead
Description
English: An irregularly shaped, roughly circular blue glass object with a circular depression on one side. The glass is irredescent and appears to have been fire affected. Dating of such beads outside of an archaeological context is difficult, as blue glass beads were commonly used in the Iron Age, Roman and Saxon periods and again in the modern/Victorian era. Its fire damaged condition makes it more difficult to date with any accuracy.
