Along the Merced river, the tall pines reach toward the night sky surrounded by towering walls of granite rock formed by glaciers. These glaciers created hangin valleys of which Bridal veil falls and the leaning tower currently rest, as seen in the background aglow via moonlight. The moon is beginning its descent in transit westbound toward the horizon, its rays warm the canyon walls shedding a glimmer of brilliance to Bridal veil falls and the Leaning tower granite face. Meanwhile, An iridium flare from a satellite in orbit fly across toward Altair, the brightest star in the Aquila constellation as dawn begins to bring blue hour and awaken the day. Watching the transition from night to dawn and sunrise in Yosemite is nothing short of amazing. I wish my images showcase the park in its best light.
