Title
Blue glass bead
Description
English: Very small blue faceted glass bead probably dating from the post-medieval or early modern period, i.e. c. AD1600-1900. Even though faceted beads were used in Roman and medieval times, the glass is of a shade of blue which is too bright. Furthermore, the good quality of the glass and workmanship suggest that this bead was made with modern tools or even by machine.
