Description

This was on a drive back from a lake vacation in North Carolina, stopping off at a scenic overlook along I-26. The view was indeed scenic with the fortunate timing of the sunset.

This location is within the Blue Ridge Mountain Range of the Appalachian Mountains, not too far from the Great Smoky Mountains and Pisgah National Forest.
