| Description |
English: Blink and you will miss it I have found that many of the named ways and trails have by no means obvious routes. This overgrown flight of steps is where the Derwent Valley Heritage Way leaves the banks of the river and is easily overlooked. The prominent path frequented by the fishermen continues along the bank.
On this day I was aware that I needed to cut across the fields as the river turned to the right - I still walked straight past this and had to back-track to find it. |
