Description
Deutsch: Blick von der Milseburg in Richtung Osten. Sie ist ein 835 m hoher Basaltberg und liegt im Naturpark Hessische Rhön. Diese einzigartige Mittelgebirgslandschaft zeichnet sich durch eine geringe Besiedelung aus. Dadurch konnten sich weitläufige Bergwiesen, Moore und Quellsümpfe, grosszügige Laub- u. Nadelwälder, ungewöhnliche Felsflure und Blockschutthalden, sowie zahlreiche naturnahe Bäche erhalten. Zurecht wird dieses Gebiet seit 1991 durch das UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat Rhön geschützt.
