Description
Deutsch: Damals, knapp vier Monate vor der Übergabe an die Volksrepublik China, war Hong Kong noch Britische Kronkolonie und der Blick nach Shenzhen ein Blick über die Grenze. 1979 lebten gerade mal 30.000 Einwohner in Shenzhen. Heute ist Shenzhen mit über 10 Millionen Einwohnern eine der am schnellsten wachsenden Städte der Welt.
English: Four months prior to its handover to the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong still used to be a British colony and the view to Shenzhen was a view across the border. In 1979, Shenzhen's population merely amounted to about 30,000 people. Nowadays, Shenzhen is one of the fastest growing cities in the world with a population of more than 10 million people.
