Description
Deutsch: Marmorpalais im Neuen Garten Potsdam. Ovaler Saal. Die Stuckmarmorsäulen stammen vermutlich aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurden die Kapitelle, die gelben Stuckmarmorwände und die grünen Pilaster ausgeführt. Nach 1881 diente der Raum als Speise- und Festsaal. Eichenparkett in der Mitte mit Einlegearbeit aus Mahagoni- und Ahornholz. Deckengemälde „Helios und Aurora“ von Heinrich Lengerich. Antikisierender Marmorkamin aus Carrara-Marmor. In der Nische im Hintergrund die Marmorskulptur „Kauernde Venus“ von Eduard Mayer.
