Description
Deutsch: Blick auf den ehemaligen Attendorner Ortsteil Klinke, der dem Bau der Biggetalsperre (1956–1965) weichen musste. Postkarte um 1960. Text: „Die Ortschaft führte im 16. Jh. den Namen Hülten- oder Holzenklinken, wobei "Klinge" das mittelhochdeutsche Wort für Gebirgsbach oder Talschlucht ist. Seit 1592 war Klinke Stammsitz der Familie Rüsche. Schon damals wurde hier ein Hammerwerk betrieben, das seine Arbeit erst um 1886 einstellte. Ab 1888 stand hier eine Schule für die Kinder der Umgebung.“
