Deutsch: Das Foto wurde oberhalb von Mittenwald im Karwendelgebirge geschossen, der Blick geht in den Eingang einer eiszeitlich überformten Schlucht mit vorgelagertem rundlichen Berg und Steilabfall in eine tiefere Ebene mit Häusern. Die Höllental-Eingangshütte ganz in der Nähe (so einige Kilometer entfernt in Richtung Westen) ist zwar nicht sichtbar, doch die Berge oberhalb des Höllentals im Wettersteingebirge (Tal des Hammersbachs) wie die Waxensteinkette sind am Horizont vor den Ammergauer Alpen als graue Felsen zu sehen. Unterhalb im Tal fliesst im Bild allerdings die Leutascher Ache in die Isar bei Mittenwald. Links im sehr schönen Foto mit wunderbaren Bergspitzen der nördliche Teil der Arnspitzgruppe, zur Bildmitte hin die Gehrenspitze mit dem kleinen Puittal oben im Gebirge, Dreitorspitzen von Osten her und die Wettersteinspitzen oberhalb von Lautersee und Ferchensee. Im Vordergrund der bewaldete "Burgberg" und der höhere, rundlich geformte "Grünkopf" am Taleingang des Leutaschtals mit der Leutaschklamm von oben her gesehen. Mit einem Gebirgsbach, welcher nicht geradeaus nach Nordosten über den abgeschliffenen Bergkamm in Verlängerung des Wettersteingrats in die tiefergelegene Isar fliesst, vielmehr am unteren Ende des Leutaschtals im Laufe der Jahrtausende eine tiefe, kaum überwindbare Klamm ins Gebirge geschliffen hat.
