Summary
[edit]DescriptionBlended Family + Blonde Raccoon (49219887788).jpg |
One of our local raccoon families has at least two blonde raccoons, a coloration produced by a recessive gene. I’m not sure of the relationship between these two, but the blonde raccoon was noticeably smaller than the other. The group of five raccoons stopped for a moment to check me out before slinking away under a fence. They live in the park where I shot this, and are fairly habituated to humans, owing to the large numbers of people who frequent the area. [Photographed from a respectful distance w/tele lens] [PP: cropped, exposure, sharpening, slight vignette] |
