Summary
[edit]DescriptionBledlow, The Lyde Garden (1) - geograph.org.uk - 751748.jpg |
English: Bledlow: The Lyde Garden (1) The Lyde is a tributary stream of the River Thame and rises in this ravine, here in Bledlow, being fed by 15 natural springs. The water gardens are provided by the Carington family for the benefit of the villagers of Bledlow, but are open dawn to dusk for the general public too. The Garden was given a Millennium Marque Award for Environmental Excellence, and this is recorded by a stone tablet in the wall outside the Garden, in Church End, with the double letter M. |
