Description
Français : Ce blason représente deux lions, encadrant une roue dentée en argent. Il y a également trois abeilles d'or et une bobine de fil. Les lions symbolisent la puissance, la roue dentée symbolise l'industrie, le vert et le rouge à l’intérieur représentent la Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer (SNCF). Les trois abeilles symbolisent une activité et une vie dynamique. Et pour finir, la bobine de fil représente l’industrie de la bonneterie, qui était particulièrement importante à Romilly-sur-seine.
English: This coat of arms symbolize two lions, with a toothed silver wheel. There are three gold honeybees and a thread bobbin. Lions symbolize power. The toothed wheel symbolize industy. Green and red inside show the "Société nationale des chemins de fer" (SNCF). Honeybees represent an activity and a dynamic life. To finish, the thread bobbin show industry and hosiery industry, which was a large amount in Romilly-sur-Seine (it's city in France east of Paris).
