| Description |
English: Blairmuckhole View This view will quickly disappear as yet another forest takes hold. On the horizon can be seen two of Central Scotland's main broadcast transmitter sites... on the left Kirk o'Shotts, where the first TV pictures were beamed to Central Scotland in 1953 for the King's funeral and subsequent coronation of QEII. On the right is Black Hill, the ITV network's transmitter site which opened in 1957. Forrestburn Reservoir can also be seen. |
