English: Blair Castle near Pitlochry. Blair Castle is the seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. The castle is located in the heart of Highland Perthshire at the gateway to the Grampian Mountains on the route north to Inverness. The castle dates from the 13th century, when the area was a threatening and dangerous place. |
