Description
Français : Procédé de réduction directe de Blair. C'est une amélioration du procédé d'Adrien Chenot. Deux variantes sont expliquées : dans la première (gauche), le minerai mélangé à l'agent réducteur carboné est chauffé par les paroi; dans la deuxième (droite) une chauffe directe vient en appoint.
English: Direct reduction process invented by Blair. It is an improvement of Adrien Chenot's process. Two varants are drawn: in the first one (left), the ore mixed with the carbonaceous reducing agent is heated by the wall; in the second (right), a direct heating helps.
