English: Blaen Cwm Ruddwen. The map doesn't give a name for this delightful valley. The farm at the bottom is called Troed Rhiw Ruddwen 928864 , so the hill must be Rhiw Ruddwen and it makes sense to call the stream and its valley after the hill... The picture has been taken at the top of the valley, just under the bwlch that leads across to Llyn Brianne 540391 and Dalarwen forest 887322. It looks a bit as if the track was surfaced, but it's just the underlying natural rock that gives the impression. |
