Title
Blade
Description
English: A bronze blade fragment, probably from a knife or rapier. Measuring 53.5mm in length, 19.5mm in width and 4mm in thickness.

This fragment is quite narrow with an even elliptical cross-section. The end of the tip and most of the body/haft end are missing, due to old breaks. The surface and edges of the fragment are all affected by corrosion so original surfaces are all now lost. There is no obvious evidence of hammer breakage. This knife/rapier fragment is most likely to be middle of late Bronze Age in date.
