Title
blade
Description
English: A segment of a microblade, which has no retouch on the ventral face and has been cleanly snapped at the proximal end. The dorsal face has retouch from a broad medial ridge to give a sharp edge on the left margin and a serrated edge on the right. The distal end has been abruptly retouched and has signs of use wear as a scraper. The flint is dark grey with white patches. There is primary cortex but is probably derived froma local beach pebble.

Butler illustrates a similar blade on Page 115 Fig 46 No 7. which he places in the Mesolithic period.
