Summary

[edit]
Description The two planes were actually pretty tricky to tell apart - the newer SR-71 Blackbird on the left and its predecessor the A-12 OXCART on the right. In fact one the two easiest ways to tell were the rear windows on the SR-71 for the other crew member and the fact that the A-12 carried US Air Force markings. This is actually an interesting trick - it was in fact operated by the CIA, whereas the unmarked Blackbird did fly for the USAF.
