Description
English: A whitewater Open Canoe paddler in the "black hole" rapid on Vorderrhein, Switzerland. The Rapid is infamoous for changing it's appearance because it's a drop right in the reach of the alluvial fan of the "Carrerabach", which unloads tonnes of rocks after every rainfall, frequently changing the channels and morphology of the Rapid. Named after a big, black hole carved out of the main headwall in the middle of the drop, which depending on the current situation becomes a part of the difficulty of the rapid, or not.
