Description
English: Picture postcard showing the interior of the north bank powerhouse of the Black Eagle Dam on the Missouri River in Great Falls, Montana, United States, in 1895. Twin, horizontal "Victor" reaction turbines drive wheels which transfer power mechanically using pulleys and ropes (rather than through electricity) to the Boston and Montana Consolidated Copper and Silver Mining Company smelter on the bluff above.
