A photographer named Keller or Miller in Liberty PA. See stamp, upper LH corner of the lower image (writing side of the postcard). Searching the extensive catalog of photographers at www.langdonroad.com reveals no photographer by that name, or with alternate spellings. Liberty PA is a small town. The photo depicts a Black-Crow automobile which were produced from 1909-1911 only. (A Wikipedia page already exists for them.) While the photo may have been taken a few years after that, it almost certainly predates 1925 since it is borderless, and per the Wikipedia page on postcard styles, borderless photo postcards faded out around 1916. |
