Black Burnished Ware
Description
English: Four sherds of Black Burnished Ware pottery. The fabrics are reduced dark to mid grey and tempered with abundant rounded quartz sand. Three pieces are of Poole/Wareham fabric and one is possible the South Western variant. There are traces of burnish on the exterior surfaces. One sherd from flat base, probably from a jar. Three undiagnostic body sherds. One sherd has scratch marks on both surfaces. Handmade. Abraded.
