Description
English: "Black Beauty Granite" is a Norwegian decorative stone consisting of a sedimentary breccia. It principally contains volcanic lithic clasts and stratigraphically occurs between greenstone (= metamorphosed basalt) and conglomerate.

Age: attributed to the Late Devonian

Locality: attributed to a quarry on Værlandet Island, offshore southwestern Norway
