Description

Black-shouldered Kite, Elanus axillaris +======================+ My Flickr mate David Nice has named this pair, Bronson (on the left) and Belle (on the right). She is sitting eggs, and he is providing ubereats. He has just brought in a mouse, and she is at work on it. Some bits are indigestible and are discarded.

Interestingly, Bronson usually sits with her while she is dining. Mostly the male takes off to rest, or preen, in another location.
