Summary

[edit]
Description Close to the amphitheatre was this collection of bizzare human figurines and peacocks, done typically Nek Chand style. There were arranged in step fashion as well, which is probably supposed to denote people watching a performance. In which case the significance of the peacocks is not exactly clear. In true Nek Chand style, all the figurines are made from junk- here broken ceramic tiles. (Chandigarh, north India, Nov. 2017)
