| Description |
Deutsch: Ein Beispiel ist die sogenannte Bitumenbox, bei der eine Festplatte in ein altes 5,25 CD-ROM Gehäuse eingebaut und von speziellen Dämmplatten aus Bitumen umhüllt wird. Diese Dämmmatten werden normalerweise im Akustikbau unter anderem in Autos eingesetzt. Dadurch werden u. a. die hochfrequenten Laufgeräusche der Festplatte deutlich reduziert.
English: An example of a "Bitumenbox" wherein a disk is in a CD-ROM installed in a 5.25" case with a coated insulating board of bitumen. |
