Description
English: This mother bison and calf duo were about to cross the road along with the rest of the herd going from the Historic North entrance to Mammoth Hot Springs. It's amazing to see a herd of bison happily grazing and active, in stark contrast to the 1900's when bison numbers dropped to as low as two dozen from previous hunting and poaching.
