English: Birth of the Ridgmont Bypass This excavator was busy churning up the land on the northern side of the M1 near Ridgmont. The works were to create a loop of the A507 to the north of the M1 avoiding the necessity to go through the village of Ridgmont - effectively creating a Ridgmont bypass. |
