During the birds stay with us it isconstantly busy, darting out from itsperch after insects, so that it leaves itsblessing on the woods through which ithas passed. After the brood is reared inthe north, they return, sometimes spend-ing as much as a month with us duringSeptember, on their journey southward.On their autumn visit, however, they aremuch duller colored than during thespring migration, and would hardly berecognized by one who became ac-quainted with them on their bridal tourthe spring before. This exquisite warbler has quite anextensive range covering North Amer-ica east of the base of the Rocky Moun-tains. It is occasionally seen as far westas British Columbia.
