The eggs showremarkable variation in size and shape. The smallest I have ever seen, averagedone and fifty hundredths inches long byone and fifteen hundredths inches in di-ameter. The largest eggs were two andthirty-five hundredths inches long by oneand fifty hundredths inches in diameter. In color some specimens have a bluishgray background and are spotted withshades of red and lilac.
