Its hues are allbeautiful; the brilliant blue and black,shot with gold, of the eyes of the tail,the satin-like peacock blue of its neckand breast, the shining green of itsback, each feather with its tiny eye ofbrown, the clear brown of the stiff fanthat supports its tail, the soft graydown that clothes its body—all are fitrobing for this royal bird.
