KODIAK, Alaska - Petty Officer 3rd Class Chris Moore, an aviation survival technician with Air Station Kodiak, tends a trail line connected to an acoustic mooring as Petty Officer 3rd Class Devin Lloyd, an aviation maintenance technician with Air Station Kodiak, hoists the mooring into an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter for return to Kodiak Island April 28, 2011. The mooring, valued at about $20,000, came free of its anchor in Cook Inlet while collecting whale movement data for wildlife biologists from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
