Some few summers ago, as I was driving through Bibury, I took the opportunity of calling on the Hon.and Rev. Canon Button in hope of seeing his birds. He was unfortunately out, but a maid showed me his aviaries, and also some parrots which were in the house. But what pleased me most were some parrots, who appeared to live all day in a large tree on the lawn.
