| Description |
English: Bird life at the basin A pair of young swans preening themselves on the peninsula between the canal arms at the Coventry Canal terminus basin. In the background is a statue of early canal engineer James Brindley and the signs for Fradley (the far end of the Coventry Canal), Birmingham and Braunston. The white and brown narrowboat has its autumn supply of logs on the roof and behind it, pigeons are making the most of the twelve roost holes provided in the wooden warehouse frontage. |
