Summary

[edit]
Description

released by Regina Dugan, Director of DARPA. "It weighs less than one AA battery. And it is very agile. The hummingbird is the only bird that can fly backwards."

It took 300 wing designs, 12 avionic forms and 10 prototypes. "One way to be stealthy is to look natural. You don't notice them."

And then the flying robot swarm of quadrotors came out, courtesy of Vijay Kumar and team. Such a wonderful display for my birthday! =)
