Scope and content: This file unit consists of correspondence related to Bird Island Light in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts received by Henry A. S. Dearborn in his capacity as Superintendent of Massachusetts Lighthouses. Included are letters to Dearborn recommending various individuals for the post of lighthouse keeper, as well as correspondence from Lighthouse Keeper William Moore regarding expenses and repairs to the lighthouse.
