Description
A postcard from the Ken Levin Toledo Postcard Collection, donated by Toledo resident, Ken Levin. Mr. Levin's collection was published by the Toledo Blade in a book entitled "You Will Do Better in Toledo: From Frogtown to Glass City," edited by Sandy and John R. Husman. This postcard is a colored, print depiction of the Lucas County Courthouse, located at 700 Adams Street, Toledo, Ohio, as well as the surrounding area. The couthouse is in the center of the postcard, with the Y.M.C.A. Building, the Elks Club, and the National Union Building, located at 423-31 Michigan Street, on the left. Canton Street extends outward on the left side of the courthouse. Jackson Street is visible behind the courthouse, and Ontario Street extends outward behind it on the right side of the building. The postcard is addressed to Joseph McCaughn at 151 Alexandrine Avenue, Detroit, Michigan, from Glenn F. Wyrill of Toledo, Ohio.
