Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Anaplerotic reactions catalysed by biotin dependent pyruvate carboxylase (PC) and propionyl-coenzyme A carboxylase (PCC) regenerate oxaloacetate for the citric acid cycle (tricarboxylic acid cycle, Krebs cycle). OXPHOS means oxidative phosphorylation, ATP is adenosine triphosphate. Simplified version.
Vereinfachte Darstellung. J. M. Berg, J. L. Tymoczko, L.
