Description
Deutsch: Prototyp eines Bionik Stößfängers an einer W168 A-Klasse zur Vermessung des Treibstoffverbrauches. Er besteht aus einer Synthese von 3 Vorbildern aus der Natur: a) Strömungsvorlaufkörper des Pinguins, b) Strömung am Unterboden nach dem Vorbild des Rochens, c) stark abstrahierte Erkenntnisse der Strömung um das Haifischmaul für die Lufteinlässe.

Bei konstanten Reisegeschwindigkeiten verbraucht das Fahrzeug mit Bionik Stoßfänger 9% weniger Treibstoff als mit dem Serienbauteil.
