English: Binger Hermann policy: The single-spaced text is an extract from a report

submitted by the Colorado Surveyor General, dated June 5, 1899. It describes the practice of placing material errors (usually in red ink) on the Surveyor’s General original plat of prior official survey, which was described earlier in the “discrepancies in the official record” part of this course. The GLO Commissioner ordered the

Colorado Surveyor General to discontinue this practice.
