Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Billingham Branch Railway Bridge Although the railway no longer exists. Built in 1934 this was actually the first all welded steel bridge in Britain. It was built to carry the A1032 on the approach to the Newport Bridge over the Portrack mineral railway. There is now a footpath along the route of the old railway as far as Billingham Beck.
