Summary
[edit]DescriptionBill Cosby upright.jpg |
Taking a break from the serious business of international affairs, the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and Girard College presented one of the world's most beloved funnymen. From his humble beginnings in Philadelphia, Bill Cosby has gone on to achieve great success over the last five decades as an entertainer, comedian, actor, producer, author, educator, musician, and activist. He joins us to offer some reflections on the human condition through a few of the new characters portrayed in his latest book, I Didn’t Ask to be Born, But I’m Glad I Was. Proceeds from this program will benefit the World Affairs Council’s education programs, serving more than 2,100 students in 80 area schools. |
