Description

Everyone seems to know about the Seawall ride in Stanley Park, but I prefer the ride around downtown. Seawall is in forest and it's fairly crowded. One can only ride one way with the flow of traffic, last I knew. Bicycle traffic. Everyone wants to go to the woods. Of course, they live in the city. I prefer going to the city, but I ride through lots of woods and farmlands to get to Vancouver.

Riding around downtown Vancouver on the Coal Harbor and False Creek bike paths is a treat. Cuts across east, more urban end of Stanley Park, but bypasses the famous Seawall ride.

Urban views, but the path is not usually crowded. Bypasses the auto traffic of downtown. Tranquility in the midst of a city. Follow more of photo stream on right.
