Description
Nederlands: De Koninklijke Marechaussee heeft deze week elke avond/nacht bijstand geleverd aan de politie voor het handhaven van de openbare orde. Sinds het ingaan van de avondklok stonden elke avond maar liefst 85 marechaussees van de Landelijke Bijstandsorganisatie (LBO) paraat om de politie bij te staan bij onlusten of overige handhaving van de avondklok. Meestal was hun robuuste aanwezigheid al voldoende om de rust te doen wederkeren, maar soms moesten ze daadwerkelijk ingrijpen. Zoals in Eindhoven, waar het er hevig aan toe ging. “Eindhoven leek een war zone.”
