Description
English: Programem ogólnym zabudowania miasta Białegostoku. This board is part of a large study, which was the general program for the development of Białystok, prepared under the supervision of architect Ignacy Felicjan Tłoczek, in which in the period from June 21, 1938 to July 29, 1939. in the Construction Plan Office of the Białystok City Government. It was the first comprehensive planning study for Białystok after World War I. It was made at the request of the Association of Polish Cities by Ignacy Felicjan Tloczek, future professor of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, selected for this task due to his previous experience in planning the development of Toruń. The assumptions of this plan included, among others: a scale of the size of Bialystok appropriate to its role as the capital of Podlasie, as an industry center cooperating with plants located in the subregion and as the center of a constellation of towns: Choroszcz, Suprasl, Wasilkow, Michalowo, Grodek, Zabludow. The areas necessary for further development of industry are reserved on the Suprasla River in the area of the village of Fasty, in Starosielce and, to a lesser extent, in Dojlidy. The directional system of transit communication remains from east to west as the basic one and from south to north with a fork to Elk and Grodno as the regional one, both of which are intended to relieve the traffic congestion in the city center. The center of administration, education, culture and services remains in the city center, regardless of the centers of peripheral districts. Removal of the ruins in the Chanajki estate and creation of a new residential district in its place. Leaving areas not qualified for expansion purposes as agricultural land. Respecting the dendorological values of the Zwierzyniec green wedge and linking it with newly established tree belts. Use of the landscape values of the hills. The plan included the following studies: Communication study, Traffic intensity study, Inventory of road condition, geological cross-sections, State of land use, List of real estate ownership, Layout of industry, Layout of primary schools, Sketch draft of the general plan, Design of the network of primary schools, Zone design, Designed cross profiles communication arteries, Technical description of the condition of the buildings, Detailed plans for the acquisitive estate of Wiedza Robotnicza, Kościuszki Market Square area, Dojlidy estate, Reconstruction project, Fire-resistant and non-fire-resistant construction zones
