Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The plan is known only from a later copy. The document established a new scope of the city's borders and also divided it into 246 quarters (70 more than in 1880). The plan took into account new facilities in the city space built after 1880, including primarily the barracks of the 61st Vladimir Infantry Regiment in the Piaski district. New proposals for the location of public utility facilities were also introduced. Among other things, the locations of new markets were indicated: the first one in the place of the later Fish Market and the second one (not built) between today's Sienkiewicza and Sobieskiego streets. This project already indicated the locations of the waterworks authorities (launched in 1892) and trams (launched in 1896). The area of the city park near the former palace pond was reduced, and due to the development of the area of "dry ponds" at Niemiecka Street (today ul. Kilinskiego), the squares planned there were abandoned. The assumptions of the plans of 1880 and 1887, difficult and expensive to implement, were implemented to a small extent - apart from marking the extended city limits, new cemeteries and a new city park were located in the vicinity of the Branicki Palace, in accordance with the plan, and new streets were built (including Piwna and Lozowa - today Skłodowkisej-Curie and Washingtona streets), and the location of Rynek Rybny was also confirmed. The routes of new streets indicated in both plans and the regulation of existing ones, although most of them were not implemented, were valid and were taken into account, among others when issuing permits for the construction of new houses or facilities in the city.
