Description
English: Various deities including stone fountain made by Sushil Shamsher in Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 11 Bhotebahal. In the main square of Bhotebahal, under the shade of a large Pipal tree (Hindu Holy Tree), there are idols of gods below and above this stone fountain. There is a stupa of Buddha in the middle, a statue of Lord Ganesha on the left and a statue of Machhindra Narayan, Shiva Ling, a statue of Saraswati and a statue of Lord Vishnu on the right. Although this is not the real name of the various temples and stone fountains, the locals call it Pipal Dhungedhara (Stone Fountain). All these have been made in the ditch in the middle of Bhotebahal Chowk. Sundhara water used to come to the stone spout here but in the last few years water has not come. The locals worship various deities in this ditch.
